Drift Boss at School: What "Unblocked" Means
Short version: it is a normal web game, and whether it opens depends on your network, not on a trick.
Why games get blocked
School and workplace networks use filters. Most filters work from lists of site names and categories. A big game portal sits on the "games" list, so the whole domain is blocked, even if a single game on it is harmless.
Why this version sometimes works
Our page is a small site about a single game. It is not on the big portal lists, so some filters let it through. Others will not. We cannot see your filter and we cannot change it.
What we do not do
We do not run a proxy, we do not hide your traffic and we do not give tips for getting around filters. If a page is blocked, it is blocked. You can ask a teacher or an IT admin, or play at home.
Chromebook tips
- Close extra tabs. Chromebooks share memory across tabs, and the game likes room.
- Use the Full screen button under the game for a larger view of the road.
- If the keyboard does nothing, click inside the game once.
- Use headphones. The soundtrack is part of the fun, but the classroom does not need it.
Questions
Will Drift Boss open on my school Chromebook?
It is a light browser game, so the device is rarely the problem. The network is. If your school filter blocks this page, it will not open.
Is this site a proxy or a bypass?
No. It is a normal website. It does not hide traffic or get around any filter.
Is it okay to play at school?
That is up to your school. Some allow games at lunch or free periods and some do not. Follow your own rules.
What if the game is slow on a school laptop?
Close other tabs, plug the laptop in if it is on battery saver, and restart the tab. Old Chromebooks can run it, just not always smoothly.
New to the game? Start with how to play.
